FAQ
FAQ About Club Classes
What does it cost? All classes cost £3/hour for members and £6/hour for non-members. Membership only costs £17 for the entire year (meaning you make your money back in 6 classes). Where can I buy membership? Membership can be purchased at any of the classes we run and at the weekly social dancing.
Who teaches your classes? All classes are taught by our highly experienced professional coaches. You can find out more information about our various coaches here.
Can anyone come? Yes. Our dance classes are open to everyone.
Do I need to book in advance? No. Simply turn up on the day.
Do I need to bring a partner? No. You can bring one if you want but you don't need to.
Do I need to come every week? No. Each class is self-contained and you do not need to come every week, although you will obviously improve faster if you do.
What should I wear? Something comfortable (trainers are fine).
What classes are aimed at beginners? Classes marked "beginner" are aimed at complete beginners and no prior dancing experience is required. The "Beginners (Bronze)" classes on Wednesday (Latin) and Thursday (Ballroom) move at a slightly faster pace.
What does it mean when it says bronze, silver, gold etc.? These are our medals classes, which aim to get your dancing to the level where you can take a bronze, silver, gold or gold bar medal from the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) should you want. (Medals tests are offered twice a year).
Can I get private lessons? Most of our coaches offer private lessons, priced at £26 per hour. For more information please contact them directly.
